It's Okay to Purchase 16K Shoes, Anything More Would Be Outrageous!

According to the New York Times Magazines Fashion Blog, top jewelry designer Waris Ahluwalia says its okay for someone to purchase a pair of shoes for 16K, but anything over that amount is crazy. Understandably, Waris questions why someone would want to buy a pair of shoes for that price, in other words, how vain. Personally, if I had the cash to spend on shoes that price, it would have to be for a good reason or cause. Unless your super rich or obviously not too smart, buying shoes for that amount is not a good investment at all. Some people really need to do more with their cash, like feeding those who are less fortunate, duh. This is the world we live in and we have to do better.
