While fighting against scumbag drug dealers and pimps in Blaxploitation films such as "Cofy" and "Sheba Baby," Grier maintained her presence on screen with style, grace, and beauty. Oftentimes actresses are forced to play roles that fit the male view of femininity in society like housewives or mistresses.
