The Coveted

This fall USF students had the opportunity to meet Brewster Kahle, who discussed the topic of web 2.0. Kahle is taking advantage of the writable web, and putting a whole new twist on the idea of an online library. He's implementing story telling and teaching worldwide. Through innovations like the web archive, Kahle, is the new Einstein of the net.

Now back to the fashion: I don't know what it is about this tote, but the female students at USF love it. Its called the Long Champ Le Pliage Bag, and its straight from France. I can't understand whether its the sleek and simple design or whether it holds lots of books well. I think that it looks cool. At the Davies Forum with Bryan Alexander, I saw a USF Media Studies student with this bag and it was the hottest topic in my mind. I had never seen the bag in this color, and I asked the student did she buy it downtown. She said no, a friend brought it back for her from a trip to France, how cool is that? At first glance, I thought I would have a slim chance of finding some fashionable trends at the forum, but I did.
