Fashion and the Nightclub

During spring break I had the privilege of entering one of Hollywood's premiere night clubs, Ritual, located in the heart of Los Angeles. At first it was extremely hard for people to get into the club, because the event planner's and bouncers were randomly selecting the party goer's of choice. Finally after 25 minutes a friend of mine and I got into the dazzling space.

There, I spotted a woman with a bright blue and green dress and I knew I had to use her for my next post. Valerie Ogoke, a Loyola Marymount University Senior, wore a patterned puzzle piece shaped, bright blue and green spring dress. I liked the dress immediately, not only did the friendly colors catch my attention but also the way the dress looked on Valerie. She did a nice job as well accessorizing the dress with peacock feathered earrings.

Valerie and I

I stepped outside with her to ask her a little about the dress. She said she got it from a store called Pink Ice located in Los Angeles. In the past, I was scared of hot color's like hot blues, reds and greens. Now, I know that they can look good, if worn correctly.

I had an awesome time at Ritual scooping out fashion forward people while enjoying the party scene. It seems as though you can find fashion everywhere in Los Angeles, however, I found it at Ritual.

Cool post! I really like the idea of highlighting the fashion of everyday people. This girl looks super glamorous, but it's cool that she is a college student like us. I would rather see her fashion choices than those of some supermodel who I can't even relate to.
