Warning.. sermon ahead: Time is slowly passing by, but the Miss California USA pageant is quickly approaching. It is November 9Th and I have approximately nine days to purge my body of all things non-pageant like (yes; a made up word). I need to remember what I am exactly in this pageant for and how it might just change my life. I am never fearful, but grateful for what is to come. I've had many tell me I would never be...and I'm soon realizing the power behind their words and how it has made me stronger. As they say, "the haters are your motivators."
On to the brighter part of this post. Here are two of my most recent purchases for the pageant. The dress is not the dress that I will be wearing, it's gorgeous and very similar to the actual dress. The shoes are by Chinese Laundry and they are the exact shoes that I will wear. (P.S. the shoes in person are not as vibrant as they appear in the photo.)
